CHOPPED STRAND MAT
Chopped strand mat is made of randomly but evenly distributed strands chopped into 50mm length. These chopped strands, chopped strand mat, chopped fiberglass strand mat are bonded with a polyester powder in the forming section of the belt conveyor system, then pass through the drying, cutting section to be processed in various width and weight. It is preferred to be used by hand lay-ups for molding of big size objects having thicker, many curvatures, or for objects of small quantities. End products include chopped strand mat, chopped fiberglass strand mat, flat sheet, corrugated sheet, boat/vehicle laminates, bath tubs,etc.
